Saddened sorrows sung
Far around the world now

Sent beyond the Stardust’s songs
David Bowie, we’ll miss you.

I’m sitting here listening to a compiled Bowie on the radio talking about his life. And like every one of my kind of age, I remember seeing Ziggy Stardust live in ’73. It’s only a drunken haze now but I was shocked, I think, at the time. Unfortunately, I was too young to have seen him in clubs like The Marquee in the ’60’s when he really was shocking.
At least now, despite his death, we all have him on mp3. Thanks for your poem Eric, and God Bless David.
